Is my new Cartridge Compatible?

Hello Audiogon Fam, I aquired an Audio Technica AT-LP8x a few months ago. I decided to taek a big leap forward and upgrade the MM Cartridge to a MC (At33xMLB) I installed it yesterday with a new 13Gram Headshell also from Audio Technica. Now I can't balance it. I raised the height all the way and did my best but still can't be balanced correctly. Can anybody guide me in the right direction please? Not sure what I should do now.  Thank you.

Thank you both for your reaponses. I am new to Turntables and didnt take that into account. It makes sense that these two combines are heavy and therefore it cant be balanced. I switch it back to the original 10gram Headshell and now its able to balance correctly. On a side note, do you have any recomendations for great Phono Preamp under 1k? Thanks again

Simaudio moon 110LP V2 MM/MC phono will give you great satisfaction and flexibility. Can't get better at this price point IMHO.

@elliottbnewcombjr I just founded. I had to flio the house upside down to find it lol. This was a tremendous help. If I go down to the 11gram Headshell I should be ok👍😎
