Have any of you directly compared the Innuos Pulsar with the Sonore Signature Rendu SE Deluxe (optical) and, if yes, can you share your impressions of any sonic attributes and differences between the two? Also, are there any other pure streamers (i.e., not streamer/servers) you would recommend comparing the above two with, that are in the approximately $5-8K price range? |
@mitch2 I have only dipped my toe in the waters with a used CX server, but I have been mightily impressed with Antipodes. Their K21 fits your bill depending on connectivity needs. |

@zlone - I owned the Antipodes DX when it was their flagship, and it did improve on the streamer I was using before, so I am not surprised you are enjoying the CX server. I have since moved on from the DX and, while the K21 is reported to be a very good unit, it may be a mostly sideways move for me. However, if others here have experience comparing the K21 directly with the Innuos Pulsar or Sonore Sig Rendu SE Deluxe streamers I would be interested in hearing about it. |
