Why vinyl

Same reason some of us still like to roll the occasional dube.  Makes little sense, but we love the process.  🤪

Why vinyl records are beloved

In my case, it’s because I find them so much more enjoyable to listen to.

For five years, I tried to live without them. Despite making big improvements to the digital side, I still yearned for them. So I’ve come back and and love them more than ever.

I had a ten plus year hiatus from vinyl. I sold my table but kept my records.

I just upgraded my turntable and have been rediscovering my favorite albums.  Was up all weekend and this week way past midnight listening.

Vinyl records are fun.  I like the way they look, feel, and sound.  I like the pictures and the words on the back.  I like the challenge of getting the turntable set up properly.  I know they're more difficult to deal with, more expensive, take up more space, and they are old fashion.  Let's face it, they are not for everyone.  In an age of assimilation, they are an eccentric's passion.  The older I get the more passionate I get about records.  So many records, so little time.  In a topsy turvy world they are an anchor to our past.
