Solar flares

Last night I played a few LPs that I know sound great and they didn’t. It sounded like a tube was going bad. I shut everything down and noticed that my PS noise Harvesters were wildly blinking. When I went online to read the daily news articles were coming up saying the geomagnetic storms were the highest levels in two decades. The Harvesters are still blinking fast this mornings. Has anyone else experienced this?

I was playing my second rig last night and, during certain periods (which I don’t recall clearly), the music sounded out of tune. In fact, this past week—especially over the long weekend—I also experienced multiple dropouts on Qobuz, something I hadn’t encountered very often before. I’m not sure whether the issues are related.

Yes,My apc battery backups act up and my furman will shut down with an overvoltage for 30 seconds. Also my ceiling fan starts humming loader than normal. This all happened the last time there were solar flares. It is much better this afternoon.

My wife's girlfriend and our Orange girl cat both lost a front tooth within the past 24 hours.

They were not pulled (they just fell out).

The girlfriend just turned 77 and the cat is 10 1/2.

When did the storm start and does anyone want to run this though AI?

Oops.  I guess the dropout issue I was having actually started a bit earlier—before the storm hits Earth on 1/19. Today, the issue seems gone (so far), even though AI is reporting that the storm is still ongoing. That said, the storm appears to correlate much better with my wife’s temper. The bad mood is still lingering…
