@billstevenson I don’t see the machine you’re referring to. They did introduce a new record cleaner but it looks like my Knosti or spin clean. Same concept.
Humminguru Nova
I’ve assembled more or less a decent analog front end. I have a few hundred records in my collection that consists of new and old vinyl - mostly mint or near mint. Now I have been buying new vinyl recently. I use Knosti Disco Antistat to wash records - one for wash, one for rinse. The records air dry.
Would a Nova be a significant step up from the Knosti? Would it be effective with new vinyl? Any reason I shouldn’t get it?

Hi Audphile1, I use the Kirmuss US system. It can be a bit of a lengthy process depending on how dirty the album is I'm not gonna discount that. I follow the last cycle with a distilled water rinse and vacuum on my Oki Noki. The result is astonishing and to me well worth the time investment. Sonically even older albums I'm beyond familiar with take on a totally new dimension in sonic quality and dynamics. Just adding my $.02! |
