@danmar123 to be fair, he's referring to RFI EMI emitting from around the device. The power conditioner can only filter what's going through it and passed to other connected devices. It also can't filter EMI from the bundle of cords behind the cabinet. Does minimizing RMI EMI make a difference? I don't know but if it does, it would probably be like using a good linear power supply over a loud SMPS.
Break in for new DAC
I just ordered a LTA AERO DAC with Ray Reserve tubes. I have read that this need 200/300 hours of break-in? If so, since I have a All tube integrated amp, I really don't want to leave it on that long. If i have my player run music into new DAC over and over, does the amp really need to be on?
