Chair

I’ve been thoroughly bitten by the couch. My listening chair that is.
I’m forced to cut my listening sessions short due to lower back pain (chronic, result of an old injury). Looking to get something that would be comfortable enough to not aggravate the nerve in my tukhes and align properly with my speakers in a sweet spot.
Eames replica in leather? Ikea Poang? Anything else? What do you use?

I'd spend my money on physical therapy instead. Nothing is better than getting up and moving around as we age. You name it I've felt it and the only permanent cure is physical activity.

@faustaudio I already bought the chair and it helped tremendously. Now I am focusing on recovery for my back and am working it out in the gym. One without the other would not be the same. The bad chair caused pain within minutes.

@audphile1  Assuming it is not a structural issue with your back, I've had intermittent low back pain over the years,  Hard to even walk at times.  Total relief came with 4 trips to a good chiropractor.  He  also gave me two simple stretching exercises that when done daily for 5 minutes, keep me completely pain free and  flexible.  If you're interested I could try to find some pictures of them.  Cheers

@bigtwin yep I got the chiropractor part covered.
I wouldn’t mind you sharing exercises if you can find them.
I feel like this is turning into some geriatric convention instead of an audio forum discussion LOL. And I’m not even that old :)

@audphile1  I sent you a PM.  Naturally the link got deleted.  I'll try here.  I made a reference to Start with #3 and finish with # 6.  They are on this site.

I explained the second stretch, and now I'm going to put myself out there.  The things we do for fellow Agoners. 🤣

Position 1

Position 2

What the heck, here's the last stretch

Hope this helps.  I know for a fact they don't help if you don't do them every day.  Cheers,
