Transparent Audio XLR question for those who use their XLR interconnects

Who said that the transparent cables you bought are better than your MIT?

For what it's worth, I went from good quality single-ended interconnects (e.g., Audience Au24 SX) to balanced (i.e., XLR) Transparent interconnects over the past couple of years and haven't looked back for a moment.

Whereas you've gone to Gen 6 Supers, I went with Gen 5 Ultra and MM2 (Gen 5 predecessor) Reference units. I had replaced interconnects one at a time between DAC and preamp, peramp and monoblock amps, the phono preamp to preamp, and then finalized with speaker cables. In each case it was like a veil was removed, mostly with interconnects as opposed to speaker cables.

As regarding the fact of making two simultaneous changes (single-ended to balanced vs upgrades in cable manufacturer), I can't say for sure of the ratio of improvement that can be attributed between the two changes, but a clear improvement was indeed gained. My experience also showed that time is needed to let cables settle in before stability can be achieved. With the improvements in clarity gained, I was able to experience first hand that subtle changes over the course of cables settling in and stabilizing are discernable.

Well,  no one, but your statement is not lost on me!  However, the MIT xlr's i have are for the mid 80's, before MIT used network boxes.....so perhaps wrongly, I assumed that the TA G6 would have to show some level of improvement.  I really need to find another TA XLR for the pre to amp run so i can see if it is just a synergy issue.  Hopefully i can find a used set in the near future to test this out.    

Or you can just borrow from the cable company. It’s possible that a mix n match works better than full loom. I’ve seen that. 
Also, are the new cables broken in?

Transparent states the most important cable is from source to pre, then speaker cables, then pre to amp ...but everything matters...you should get a free trial...
