Ethernet

I’m considering using a 25 foot ethernet cable run from my router to my Node N130 instead of using wi-fi. Will there be an improvement by bypassing the wifi receiver inside the Node? Any recommendations/input would be much appreciated..

When I first got my N130, I tried the same thing.  I bought a long Cat8 Amazon cable. Yes it works, but the cable doesn’t have a lot of insulation and occasionally picked up noise.  I ended up buying a Netgear Powerline 2000 +extra outlet on Amazon.  Used it for years.

Yes ,but several factors , go to blue jeans cable and buy Beldons best Ethernet cable ,your rougher needs to have a LPS power supply ,that $5 wall wart just ads noise , then you need a decent quality Ethernet hub  LHY 6  perfect for you

nothing at under $600 has. Precision clock ,LPS power supply and low noise regulstors, the cheapo $20 are junk and just make more noise ,your end point

Ethernet cable to your dac is most important  depending on budget,

Wireworld make a decent one for under $250 then you will hear nice improvements

From your Ethernet hub like the LHYsw6  the end Ethernet  cable that goes to your digital source , That cable should be by far your best ,and makes the most difference.

Wow ! Thank you for your generosity of sharing this! I was told it was not possible. Eero tech told me it would work for a few hours, perhaps days then an error message would show on the Eero. Maybe its just the Eero 7 Max. Ive been banging my head trying to figure this out. I am so glad there people out there smarter than me. lol/ May I ask what 2.5mm DC audiophile cable you used? I am new to this and as I mentioned thankful.
