Denafrips Enyo 15th-Customer Feedback

Recently purchased a Denafrips Enyo 15th dac from Todd at TEK Audio.  The experience, from pre-sale to post-sale has been nothing short of spectacular.

First my feedback on the dac:
Paired with Bluesound Nano for streaming, the Enyo excels in soundstage, air, transparency, recreation of the recording details and bass reproduction. Instruments and sounds previously buried in the recording mix are reproduced.  Compared to the Nano as a standalone streamer/dac the improvement is readily apparent.  At this price point, an extraordinary value and build.

Second my feedback on Todd and TEK:
Customer service is a lost art in most arenas.  Todd patiently answered my pre-sale queries and as importantly, my follow-up questions post-sale.  I assure you TEK sets the bar very high with prompt, articuate, well thought out responses.

Highly recommended and bravo!

Congrats.  Something to consider if you can pick up a used Denafrips Iris for around $400 and run an i2S connection to the Enyo you’ll get a significant performance boost for the $.  Adding a LPS to the Nano could also provide a nice improvement as well.  Just some ideas for the future FWIW.  Enjoy!

Have a Sbooster Eco LPS powering the Nano.  Considering the Volumio Rivo Plus for streaming which has I2s output.  The usb out on the Nano is not considered a good output, hence the Iris probably is not a option.

But the Iris is galvanically isolated and will clean up the USB from the Nano — that’s a big part of the point of a DDC.  That said, the Volumio gets good reviews and would probably be a very significant upgrade, but they seem to still be working out some software issues if that matters to you.  Also, be sure the Volumio’s i2S works with the Enyo — probably does but definitely wanna confirm that before buying.
