Component faceplates

I prefer black as you can see from my system and have opted not to buy certain gear in the past because the faceplate/chassis was silver.  Smart manufacturers offer both to provide buyers a choice that fits their esthetics.  I also don't like red displays.

Silver all the way except for the Bluesound which only came in black or white.

as stated before I keep everything black so that I’m in compliance with death star regulations!🔊

As long as I can read it and it sounds good it makes little difference. Seems the trend is moving away from black though.

I have silver and gold components. They look great in my black rack.
My Veloce’ preamp has black and chrome with the tubes sticking out from the front faceplate. Best combination of everything I have seen.
