DAC to pair with Eversolo DMP-A6

More component (DAC + IC cable) will add more distortion and sounds worsen.

Great thread as I'm looking to acquire a DMP-A6 Gen 2 and was wondering if adding a Topping D90 (AKM chip) would be worth adding an extra component in my modest setup...Parasound A23, Schitt Saga+, KEF 104/2s.

What specific improvements are you looking for, what sound characteristics are most important to you, and are you looking for new or used?

Denafrips Pontus 15th, with those speakers my guess is you will like the R2R DAC much better than the onboard DAC. I have both and you will notice a substantial improvement in sound stage (depth and width) and holographic presentation.

The new Schiit Byggy is supposed to be the best Yggi ever. If so, then it is an easy recommendation. 

I should get mine delivered next week. 

My R2R Yggi+ OG that I sold a few days ago is a noticeable improvement over most DACs up to $15k. I sold it for $1900, and it was a reluctant sale to raise funds. The new Schiit Gunigair 2 (sp?) is also getting rave reviews, and it is about $1700 brand new.
