DAC to pair with Eversolo DMP-A6

Hi. Looking for recs to add a DAC to this unit to complete my system. Currently running a McIntosh MA252 > Eversolo > JBL L100 Classics. Looking to spend under 3K I'd say. Thanks!

Yeah it seems good but was wondering if adding something in that price range would be a solid improvement, or is it not worth it?

@cbowie88 these kind of experimentations should be done with gear that can be returned. but imo not worth the hassle. the DAC in the A6 is competent

More component (DAC + IC cable) will add more distortion and sounds worsen.

My WT amp ultra (upgraded Wiim amp ultra) is a solid improvement. It comes with a world-class power cord (5ft) attached. One more thing to save money. Great thread as I'm looking to acquire a DMP-A6 Gen 2 and was wondering if adding a Topping D90 (AKM chip) would be worth adding an extra component in my modest setup...Parasound A23, Schitt Saga+, KEF 104/2s.
