Most Paid for Vinyl LP

For me $54 new for best of Nickelback. I pay about $27 for new LPs, I rarely buy used but when new is not available I buy near mint used and have had good luck with perfectly quiet used.

The second post mentioned Electric Ladyland by Hendrix.  I still have a naked ladies version, only played once to record on my reel to reel many years ago.  I no longer have the R2R or a turntable, but I have kept that recording for all these years.  Funny how that works, LOL

@lhasaguy I have that same album found it at an estate sale years ago paid $6.00 for it. Also Hendrix hated that cover and insisted after the first run they change the cover art.

“Elemental” from Tears for Fears. I got a mint, sealed copy for $178 two years ago after seeing the same LP selling for nearly $500 elsewhere.

So far that’s the most I’ve paid for a single disc.

About $150-175. I believe it was for a 180 gram copy of Santana Abraxas. And I’m a jazz guy. But it’s what I grew up on also.

Paid $110 for George Harrisons triple LP, "All Things Must Pass"

Was the least expensive copy I could find, that was in good condition.

Plays and sounds very good.

No regrets, but at the time, I hated shelling out that much money for a used LP.
