Most Paid for Vinyl LP

For me $54 new for best of Nickelback. I pay about $27 for new LPs, I rarely buy used but when new is not available I buy near mint used and have had good luck with perfectly quiet used.

Yeah, unreal pressing.  Impressive for now, let alone 1968.  Hard to believe that Hendrix made all those sounds, and that great mix, with just his guitar and amp without digital help.   Here she is in all her glory... lol..  You might be able to make out the crossed out numbers on the wax for side C -- just above 613009 in the wax.

I have many of the UHQR pressing at $150 a pop. I think that's the most for a single title. I've spent way more than that on Box Sets.

The Ozzy box set cost me $550 but I sold it for $2800 on eBay.

I just bought OG MINT Tom Petty Wildflowers for $275 but it sounds absolutely amazing

I can't recall the most I've paid for an LP;  it was probably less than $40.

The most I've sold an LP for was a sealed MFSL Pink Floyd Meddle for $1100!  (I kept another copy for myself and enjoy it immensely.)

I recently scored a copy of the Mosaic Complete Recordings of the Paul Desmond Quartet with Jim Hall; the 10 LPs appear to be unplayed and have translucent, very quiet vinyl.  If you like laid-back jazz or jazz guitar, this is a fantastic set--very consistent musically, except for the bossa nova beats replacing standard snare brushes and cymbals on some of the tunes.
