Moving up in the REL line of subwoofers

I currently have a set of the REL 812 subs which i am very pleased with.  However i have the audio virus of upgradeitis and am considering replacing them with the REL 212 double decker subs.  Anyone here have experience with that upgrade?

Thanks so much.

Thanks guys.  very excited.  my friend who i am getting them from is a reviewer and super knowledgeable.  he played for 40 years with the Philadelphia orc. and has a great and keen sense of hearing. plus he has a beautiful system based on Quad speakers.  this will be my fourth generation of REL speakers (S3, S5 /SHO, S812,  and now the new ones).  I suspect (famous last words) that these will be my end game subs :).

99% music + 2 channel: Are you using their recommended high level input? Did you use REW or room correction to smooth the overlap and then custom tune it to your liking? Also room size is important to know because too much bass can shrink the soundstage of your speakers. If you have narrow speakers, such as a horn, then it's not an issue. Just something to consider before adding more subs because two 812 is adequate - for music in an average room.
