Yeah that’s the problem with repair shops. If they take 2-3 weeks to turn it around consider yourself lucky. It can go on for months.

I have a couple of amps down there, but that does me no good up here.

I would use the preamp outs on my Aria into the amp to see if that alleviated the distortion before I lost it to the repair shop.

Hmm, gives me a chance to mull over buying a Class D Audio ganfet 6.5 that @mapman is impressed with and piqued my interest. My current speakers could benefit from being fed more juice than the Aria puts out. Hard to justify it though when I have a perfectly good amp down there, if I can get it up here!
