How’s the wiim ultra working out for you?

Had it for over a week, still sitting in the box.

Something's up with my integrated's left output. On some songs, I'm getting a little bit of distortion in the midrange. I wanted to sort that out first, but I think I'll get Qobuz tomorrow to check out the Wiim anyway, it's really slight but it's bugging the hell out of me.

I have an upgraded Wiim Amp Ultra (Amp + stream + DAC). Also, I have Bluesound power-node. Wiim is much better for streaming and easy to navigate. Alex/Wavetouch audio

@thecarpathian that sucks. is it the amp or the speaker that’s distorting? When you set up wiim, try both tidal and qobuz if you get free trial. 

@audphile1 ,  Yeah, I've got it narrowed down to the left output. Happens with all sources, moves to the right speaker when I switch cables around, still happens when I switch to other cables, doesn't matter which input I use. Found a shop to look at it about an hour away. Of course he's busy and who knows when I'd see it again. Possibility it's in the preamp section, I guess...

Good idea to try both Qobuz and Tidal.
