Aurender N100h disconnection problems

Hello - hoping others can help me get my Aurender N100h to work.  Since I do not have an ethernet connection anywhere near my equipment, I am using a wifi extender.  I know it works well as I have been using this setup with a WIIM Pro for sometime and it works perfectly without any dropouts or disconnections.

I have managed to get the Aurender to play a couple of times before it disconnects.  I have cycled it on/off multiple times.  I am really very knowledge deficient when it comes to networking protocols etc.  I am using ios 26 on an iphone 16 with Conductor app version 5.

During the "find Aurender" in the app, sometimes it shows the model, but oftentimes it just keeps searching and does not find it.

The prior owner has a bunch of music on the HD and sometimes I can see it and most times not.  The front 4 buttons for the most part do not do anything, other than when it finds the stored HD music.

Most of the time, the screen says aurender N100 and nothing changes.

I have tried the 20 second hold and also have gone to the rear button out of frustration when it just seems stuck.

I expect that there are many aurender owners on this forum and hoping others can assist.  I did open a ticket which apparently goes to Korea.  I have read customer service is supposed to be very helpful.

Thank you in advance !!

It is connected via ethernet cable to a wifi extender.

Since I composed the message, I got it playing for about an hour after rebooting the Wifi extender and then as I was changing Qobuz songs, it started acting up.  The display now says "Preparing aurender, Please Wait".  It has been stuck on this for the last hour.  I will leave it on all night and maybe something positive will happen by the morning.

Conductor does does appear to be connected to my iphone still.

Aurender customer service is very responsive and they can work on your unit from their end.

Have you contacted them?

I had the same problem with my N100H.  I didn’t have Ethernet on the first floor of my home where the Aurender was located.  I used a wireless extender.  Some days everything worked well, other days I was sorry I turned it on.  After 6 months of going through exactly what you are going through, I sold it, told the prospective buyer that he had to have a Ethernet connection which he did.  Have not been sorry at all.  Purchased a Sony HAP-Z1ES music player/server.  I have 2 of them now and quite satisfied.
