Best speakers for GaN1? Or should I change amps???

It’s been some time since I bought the Peachtree GaN1 + Bluesound Node combo.    Unfortunately, I’ve hardly used it, as I’ve been working away from home.   I have it paired with a little pair of Ruark Epilogue speakers + JL Audio Sub.    Sound isn’t great.

I’m looking for suggestions for the best speakers for the GaN1?

Or should I just move it on & start again?

Thanks

Thanks chayro

During years of furious box swapping (which I want to be done with now), I’ve been down the Harbeth path with P3ESR & 40.1, the latter being one of few things I regret selling.   I went to audition some SHL5 a few years back & felt they were a bit dry & nothing like the 40.1s I’d sold.

I’d say my biggest regret was selling ATC SCM100A, which I was using with a DAC direct.   I suspect if I’d had a Pre Amp adding some meat, they would still be here.

I’ve never owned Sonus Faber, yet the few times I’ve heard them, I liked them, so that’s maybe something I need to look into.

Sorry for the rambling indecision I think I know the GaN1 has to go, unless there’s a speaker that will give me what I want with that amp?   That’s the question.

I had Harbeth SHL5's for several years until I tried something else and realized how inappropriate those Harbeths were for me in my system, as I listen almost exclusively to rock and reggae.

do not sell GaN1 please! Try a few speakers first. If you are looking for a warm, rich sound, Dynaudio, Wharfedale, Fyne, Focal, etc.

Your budget is gigantic

Thanks foggyus91.  They look interesting, but hard to find in UK.

Thanks parkergetdean.    So you believe the GaN1 can deliver???

I don’t want to toss it away without trying & intend to try a few speakers if I can.    I will say that Focal is not on my list.  I’ve had 3 pairs in the past, up to Utopia Diablo.    There’s something about Focal I cannot live with & the higher up the chain I went, the more that Focal presentation bothered me.   Like a dentist drill.    I’d say Focal is the absolute opposite of what I consider to be natural sound.
