Power cable recs for Topping D90LE DAC

But, seriously, I don't think the Topping DACs are very good (quite the reverse, and I have owned two of them), and I do think that money spent on a decent power cable for a Topping DAC is money wasted. 

Better off putting the funds towards a better DAC. For example, the Geshelli DACs are a similar price but much, much better sounding. They also give you upgrade options for the internal op amps, an external linear power supply and in this case a decent power cable is justified. 

@rossb Well we'll see how it sounds in my system. I've been doing this long enough to know its all about synergy. My system is very lush and warm and Ive been using my Node N130 just direct into my CR Developments Romulus and its great. Huge deep and wide soundstage so could the D90LE be worse? All Cardas cables also add to the warmth. So we'll see. I got the Topping for super cheap so I should be able to flip it easily if its worse. I'm a believer that cables can make a difference thus my initial post.

Could the topping be worse than what you have? Quite possibly. The Topping DACs do not have a "huge, deep and wide soundstage". They sound two-dimensional and harsh. 

I also know that cables make a difference and use very good Furutech interconnects, speaker cables and power cables, throughout my system. But putting an expensive power cable on a cheap DAC that sounds like an even cheaper one is money wasted.

But don't trust my views - and I'm sure you don't. You own the Topping DAC. Listen to it for a while and form your own opinion. You never know, you might like it. If you do, great. If not, there are plenty of better options. 

@rossb Sorry, it IS all about synergy. Your experience was bad. Many others love the D90LE so I’ll trust my ears.  Should arrive tomorrow so I’ll be very interested to hear. 

Don’t worry about a power cord for the topping. Let it settle and get a baseline with the stock cable. If you like the dac, explore power cords. If you don’t like how it sounds with stock power cord then don’t bother upgrading cables.
Nothing will fix it.
