Hi all,

A few weeks ago I shared a selection of the best McIntosh stereo amps and we had great debates and discussions. This week, I’m sharing another selection but this time around the best price/performance integrated amps from McIntosh.

I like my MA352 Tube pre / SS Amp. The tube pre handing off to the solid state amp is the perfect formula for great sound.

@koestner Yes, it's the best of both worlds! That's why these hybrid amps are so good!

Is there a big difference in sound quality with the Mac SS amps that have the extra transformer. Does this transformer alter the sound in any way, or just let you use almost any low impedance speaker?
