Question About Theil CS2 Badge/Name Plate

I just purchased a pair of old CS2s yesterday and the metal badge just below the grill cloth looks pretty wonky.  Unless this was standard from the factory, it appears that the previous owner screwed in each side of the badge onto the cabinet with brass wood screws.  Both speakers are like that, plus the screws aren't seated all of the way in, which causes the badge to dangle and move.

I've looked online at some photos, but I haven't seen any screws, other than one pair, but those screws were black.  I'd like to refurb these and get them back to a reasonably close condition of the factory specs.  So, how was the badge originally mounted?  Thanks in advance!

THIEL CS 2’s badges were originally attached with two screws into each cabinet. FYI, the grills were also originally attached to the baffles with strips of two sided tape on either side of the drivers for each cabinet. The grills can be s bit difficult to remove because of this tape , but it can be done. Furthermore more so than with any other Thiel’s the grills are integral part of the design and should not be considered optional.

Yes, I see strips of tape on the baffles but it's not tacky.

The tape can be replaced. Make sure you have the appropriate OEM drivers first. Might as well tighten down the drivers first, Careful as the magnets are quite strong and can drag across the drivers, ripping them in the process.
