Do you use one brand of electronics or are you mixing brands what has worked best for you?

I am currently using all Infigo electronics and cabling. I used to use a mix of Kr audio, resonessence and clarity cables.  I had a great sound but now I have my best sound because it seems like the digital handoffs are seemless.  My noise floor is way lower and I can tell the cabling and components are made to work together. What has been your experiences with all of this.

I met Calvinj , loves music and very nice guy. I still think Calvinj should disclose he sell infigo cables   Just for transparency. I see agoners who does it , they disclose if they are dealers.

Maybe if the cables he is using are Kimber , no issue?

For thecarpathian, who asked about my preamp:  I started with an RP-1 but later upgraded to the RP-7, with which I am VERY happy.  Sound quality is superb, using the solid state monobloc amps.  I had a tube power amp for a while, which sounded quite good, but the SS power amps made a major improvement to sound quality and staging.

Thanks. I imagine a major upgrade difference between the two?

Did you also have the 5 or go straight to the 7?
