"A Charlie Brown Christmas" -

"If anyone buys the UHQR, please post your impressions."

I have one arriving today, I'll let you know.

I previously owned the Analog Productions reissue from 2014 which was quite wonderful, I would listen to it any time of year. His instrumental tracks on the album inspired me to seek out his Jazz Impressions of Black Orpheus which is still in circulation and an outstanding album.

His style was exclusively unique to him and unfortunately, only the most exploitive commercial rehashes of his association with Charles Schulz are in circulation and not the best of his early releases that exposed his genius to the public. Too bad he passed away so young!

@faustuss - Looking forward to your impressions. And what a wonderful time of year for the UHQR to arrive.

I have not listed to Vince Guaraldi's other work. However, I love his style and look forward to checking out his other recordings.
