Things that “blow your mind”

Acoustics simple experiments blew my mind...

Gear pieces dont blew mind, you can upgrade them all ...( i like my Sansui alpha but give me the money i will go higher even if it is a TOP vintage) 

A low cost well optimized system can blew your mind, it did for me...

My AKG K340 is the only gear piece that ever blew my mind when optimized ( with a long period of learning though). I generally dislike most headphones claustrophobic unnatural timbre with artificial soundstage with no deep bass, for example  a known reviewer  paired a sub to a Raal headphone etc

You can build it with $40 in parts (my op amp version). For power supply, you can go crazy like I did. But a simple ifi wall wart (or any Wal Wart with a few Amps of current output) will do. It has to be clean. I learned the hard way.
