My vodka was good to go after about an hour in a freezer. No further break in was required.
How long for an HDMI cable to break in.
I've been using an Audioquest Blueberry for a little while and just got the Vodka 48 8k/10k to compare. I'm not hearing initially much of a difference and certainly not $600 worth. Anybody else compare the two? Direction is correct. When I put the Vodka in I realized the Blueberry was in wrong!

If you are using the HDMI cable to transmit native HDMI I would not expect to ever detect any difference. That is provided the cable is rated at high enough speed and the devices at each end support what you want to do. If it works, it works. On the other hand, if you are using it for I2S all bets are off ... |
