Your favorite obscure song

What song in your music inventory do you consider a barely known hidden gem? Like a well kept secret know only to a few that you can listen to over and again.

For me it's 'Roads to Moscow' from Al Stewart's 'Past Present and Future' album.

The music, the lyrics, the story it tells is- to be just slightly hyperbolic- brilliant.

Check it out, especially if your a WW2 history buff.

This alone takes it off the obscure list. 

The album does not sound right without hearing the pops, rumble, tics, and all the other distractions that only an LP can provide. Sets the mood beautifully!

Oh yeah,

My all time favorite San Fran 70s band.....Cold Blood.

Their big hit on this self-titled album was "I Just Wanna Make Love to You".

Lydia Pense is the bomb.

How about-----

Tim Buckley's all-time fav....."Welcome to LA".

His voice is manic.

Best track: "Sweet Surrender". 

Here's a taste: "Sweet, sweet, sweeeeet surrender momma....tooooo love, tooooooo love". And the lyrics just keep getting better and better....
