Do you use one brand of electronics or are you mixing brands what has worked best for you?

@lanx0003 this is exactly why I posted this. Because I have one brand of electronics and all of the cabling to get the precise sound I was looking for. It is detailed and spacious with a slight bit of warmth.

I currently am mix & match..& it's a budget thing. But I think that the truly great designers build their components to mesh with one another. Everything is considered from input to output of one component connecting to the next. I can remember listening to the designer of SW1X audio go into great detail about how he focuses on component matching..even between the lower & upper line of his products. It made sense to me. 

But a lot of times you just want the best for your money. And that means mix & matching. Getting a new piece & hope it pairs well with what you already have. Obviously there are many great sounding systems out there..all 1 manufacturer or 5 different. 

@foggyus91 i totally understand your opinion but I will not change either. Sorry it bothers you but there are a lot of discussions that I will have and I will have them the way I choose to. No offense. Happy listening. Take care. 

@mattw73 my system kind of happened by fate.  I met Hans when he was developing his amplifier at before he started Infigo . He ended up doing a head to head with my Kr Audio stuff and I was so blown away I started helping him out at Infigo.  I helped him with his cabled line and got all of his components after he blew mines out of the water. After this experience I think it’s great when you can get all of your components from one brand. I’m blessed to have the components and cables from one brand which has been amazing sound wise for me.  I was mixing and matching before that.
