Sum Total Cost Of All Cables In Your Rig?

Around $10k of $80k system. Mostly all Cardas Clear. Very happy. And yes, great cables make a big difference.

This is an interesting thread.  Just about everybody is estimating, but most know exactly what they spent on speakers and electronics.

My estimate?  About $6000 on a complicated 7.2.4 system with theater bypass, 4 amplifiers, 2 preamps, video player and processor, projector, etc.

Underinvested in cables? I do not think so ...

I forgot to add I also use Canare interconnects between my Marantz SACD30n and the Marantz Model 30 integrated.  

Sometimes I'm embarrassed to post on AG. Many of the listed cable investments are multiples beyond my total system cost. 

Don't get me wrong. Those who are able to invest in reference level equipment benefit everyone as technology has a way of trickling down to lower cost items or become available on the used market, a few years down the road. 

That being said, I probably have about $400 dollars invested in cables.
