Who here continues to regularly use a CD player?

I do have a CD player, however, at this point, I rarely use it. I mostly listen to vinyl and stream.

Do you still regularly use your CD spinner?

I play CD's almost everyday and vinyl a few times a week.  Qobuz a few times a week as well.

Yes, I use my CD player, Cambridge Audio Azur 650C, regularly. Won't stream - services are more than I can afford. Have tried streaming; fun for the first three or four hours then I went back to my CD's and LP's. I like physical media too much and didn't hear anything streamed that sounded any better than my CD player.

I listen to CD’s on a regular basis, along with streaming and playing LP’s. I use a Kora Hermes II DAC, which makes the CD’s sound much warmer.

My disc playing (CD, SACD, DVD Audio and Blu Ray Audio) had diminished to almost nothing. And then, on a whim, I bought a new DAC that could accommodate the output from my CD player (an Oppo 105). The DAC I use for my streaming system (an Ayre QB-9 Twenty) is a joy, but USB only. When I hooked up the Oppo 105 to the new DAC (a new PS Audio Stellar), the discs came to life. In my system, to my ears, the Oppo sounded kind of flat and gray. No more! The Stellar brought discs back to life, and I am going back through my good-sized collection and enjoying them again. I have so many CD box sets that I am grateful to explore once more.

My order of use is still vinyl first, then streaming, and then CD/SACD. But discs are back in the game, and that is fun.

I have an inexpensive streamer to audition music and then get the CD, BluRay, etc to support the artist.

Haven't made the $$ leap to serious streaming mostly because I don't know if streaming can replicate the quality of a BluRay disc. Comments??

Using a Modwright modified oppo UDP 205.
