What’s the Sweet Spot price point wise in your audio journey?

I ask the question because there are so much gear at vastly different price points.  My sweet spot is the 15-30k range. That’s where my speakers, amp, and Dac for the most part sets. There are good things below the prices but there is synergy and  price/performance when purchasing audio. For some folks it’s the 5-15 range. It just depends on what you budget is you can fund great stuff all over Audio. Thoughts! No negativity. Just real answers.

@deep_333 I have a similar experience. Last Christmas, I got my lady friend a system for less than 5K. It sounds really good and she loves it and gets a taste of this hobby that can be quite consuming for many of us.
When I ask her if we might get something to improve her system for this Christmas, she said “why? What I have sounds great and I don’t need anything else.” That’s a great attitude, one I wish I had, but she is much smarter than me.

we are all different and should respect the differences

OK, I was joking about having golf clubs, but the joke illustrated a very real pathology! :)

I played golf once... I was annoyed by the necessity to push a golf ball instead of walking out in the near forest....

I enjoyed badminton and tennis when i played young...

Cycling was more my thing ...

I think there are too many people that cling to the concept that price is proportional to quality/performance. I'll leave it at that.

I would also add what has been said many times, once you get to a certain point, it is not necessarily better, just different.
