OK, which one?

These are the two and only two streamer choices:

WIIM Ultra or Bluesound Node Nano?

Using an external dac. Hurry before Black Friday sales end!

(Yes, I'm that frugal)

I have a number of bluesound streaming devices (Node X and powernode amp/streamer DAC included); i think they’re ok, clearly not at the level of my main system components. I’ve not heard the Wiim products.  But I will say that Bluesound support is generally very knowledgeable and helpful and always quick to respond even when you get a tech who less than stellar.  About 4 of their people spent a lot time over about 3 weeks looking through their logs of my system to help diagnose why I was persistently losing the stream when i had a PulseM (i.e., small streaming speaker) paired with a Bluesound SUB+ added in a group with my NAD  M10 and any other player in the home.  They eventually did find the problem and it was not their software or hardware; it was the placement of one of my LAN AP/extenders.)

nano for sound quality (be sure to get a 5v dc linear power supply to power it)

wiim if you need the extra features and if you are listening more casually, don't need that last 5-10% of sound quality

Chatted with a former Innuos dealer at Capital Audio Fest last weekend.  He dropped Innuos cuz he said he just couldn’t rationalize selling that stuff to his customers.  Pointed out that on the new Zenith that retails for $21.7k, dealer profit is $9k.  He was using a Wiim ultra with a $10k+ dac in his room.
