Jay’s Audio Lab YouTube interview 😂

I have never been so turned off by someone so arrogant and Mr. right than I was when I watched Jay’s latest interview with one of his customers.
First the guy seems like an … and then starts bashing other high end companies he doesn’t like. Jay then agrees with him to make him happy and right.
I suppose Jay must keep that customer happy and agree with him to keep his business a live.

I just choose not to watch any of his YT videos. I have probably spent less than 20 minutes on a few different pieces of equipment he is discussing, but lose interest because of the presentation.

I have never walked into a Hifi store and not have the salesman tell me how smart I am to be looking at this particular piece of equipment. But I find interesting about Jays deal is he doesn’t disclose what he does to earn his nickel. With that in mind, he comes across as a person who really doesn’t understand Some very basic stuff. Example was when he put that eight gauge power in the walls and forgot about supposedly putting it in conduit. Stuff like that you should leave to a professional if you are not up to the task. I appreciate his Desire it’s just there our times in our life when we need to let someone else take the lead for half a minute.

I'm looking forward to attending his upcoming barbecue around the pool. I'll be curious to know what types of outdoor speakers he will be using. I wonder if the mosquitoes are really bad in Texas. I hope his neighbors are cool with all the noise and traffic that'll be going on in the neighborhood now that he's a big time audio professional personality.

Can't wait to see his first speakers. I bet they're going to be really really nice and really really expensive. And of course his very first amplifiers. I think it's incredibly exciting.

Just another youtube narcissitic influencer, cult of personality, who buys into their own echo chamber of ignorance.  He's a used car salesman: hard sell, pressurizes every situation, acts like he's the only authority, does dumb crap and blames others.  I've seen this before in a former 'friend' who's a youtube celebrity in a whole other arena.  There are some great youtube content creators who simply convey their experiences in their audio journey, mistakes and all, education and all, opinions and all.  Some are actual authorities in the industry with literal education and experience and seasoned industry pros.   This Jay guy always comes off as someone who 'did his research' on youtube  three days ago, and then hammers his viewers like he's the expert and knows it all.
