Actually, I think it’s real wood veneer. Fluance states "real wood finish".

Either way, it’s a very nice looking, very good sounding table, and for the price, a terrific bargain.

Pardon the silly question, but what is wow on it own? what is flutter on its own? I only ever see it as a combined speed (in)accuracy term of "wow & flutter" but that suggests wow and flutter are two different things, including the 0.1 wow and 0.1 flutter threshold cited above.

Thanks. Tried googling it, but no luck. The best guess is that wow is long-term variation (say full revolution), and flutter is short term variation (1 degree). But what are the actual definitions? Reference?

I would think, from my own experience, that .2% wow and flutter would also be a non issue for most.

 Wow refers to slow variations in speed, typically below 4 Hz, which result in noticeable pitch fluctuations. Flutter, on the other hand, refers to faster variations in speed, typically above 4 Hz, which can cause a more rapid and less noticeable pitch variation.
