Nobsound springs will do the job. $30 for a box of 4. I use them under all my components, including directly under large bookshelf speakers on stands. They clean up the sound and increase soundstage etc.
Reducing Resonance Between Speakers and Stands – Need Advice
My Joseph Audio Pulsar speakers are currently placed on some basic stands, which themselves sit on spikes. When playing bass-heavy material, I feel the sound doesn’t quite detach cleanly from the speakers — instead it seems to vibrate and spread sideways, as if too much resonance is being transferred into the stands.
I’m looking for something to place between the speakers and the stands that would help reduce these resonances and improve bass clarity.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

I have a long term experience of trialling isolation methods for HiFi Equipment, where a Cabinet Speaker on a stand and Floor Standing are both worked with. I can assure you Isolation does work and pneumatic isolation in my investigations have produced improved results over spikes and soft compounds. What is becoming more and more common today is similar options for Isolation to be used with a 3D Printer, which does have designs that are usable with Speakers. If certain designs from this market were directed at the Audio Market, the item would be much more costly to acquire as a product. If I were to continue with being inquisitive, this is a area I would be exploiting for what it can offer. Also as a investigation in conjunction with support methods, don't overlook the value of adding a weight to the top of the cabinet to reduce amplitude produced within the cabinet structure, where when left as an undamped - slow to dissipate energy, will be quite an unwanted influence on the produced End Sound. This one is free to achieve as an experience, it will only add a cost if wanted to be maintained and a weight to be used has to have a aesthetic attraction. When altering methods for mounting Speaker Supports and Speakers, along with controlling cabinet amplitude, there will be discoveries made. Made discoveries will be able to create the perception betterment is being achieved. There will also be as a after effect, betterment for being aware where detractors are presenting within the produced End Sound. There does come a time when the influence of the listening space on the End Sound being produced has to be investigated for making changes. With the intent to create an improved space for the sound to be formed in. As in all things audio and the integration of the audio system into the home, where one gets of the bus, with the requirements is each to their own unique situation.
