Would image clarity or definition be #1? Color quality? Contrast? Lifelike depth of field perspective?
I’m not a videophile, but if I was I suspect it’d be a lot like the various aspects of sound are for an audiophile and you want it all so picking a #1 is kinda tough. That said, and as with audio, I’d want balance so that all those aspects were at a similar level and one wasn’t clearly inferior or that’d bug the crap outta me. When I listen to my audio system I like feeling like I’m experiencing the performance without thinking about individual sound characteristics and pretty sure I’d feel the same way about high-end video and just wanna get lost in the movie without being distracted by noticing any one aspect of the picture. Just my take on it anyway.
