I also listen almost entirely to classical music, streaming on Qobuz.
When I decide on something specific in classical music, I will seek the best recording.
As one example among many, consider the Beethoven piano sonatas. There are so many that it would be nearly impossible to consider them all. I will start with the best known and also look for reviews. For these great piano works, I like Richard Goode, Wilhelm Kempff, Emil Gilels, Sviatoslav RIchter, Claudio Arrau, Stephen Kovacevich, Maurizio Pollini and Annie Fischer just to name a few.
These works are so great that they can brighten all but the darkest days.
