Opinion about this cantilever

Recently purchased a (gently) used Accuphase cartridge.  It looks clean and not worn... however, there does seem to be an alignment issue.   Thoughts?
Is this a candidate for a rebuild?

Improper anti skate can cause that.

But I spoke with VDH years ago after a rebuild they did for me. The cart came back with a slight miss alignment similar to yours pictured, AJ said don’t worry about it, it will straighten in the grove, nothing to worry about for tracking etc.  It eventually straightened on its own.

IF never used, then improper anti-skate is not the cause.

Aluminum, an alloy, can straighten itself, but not beryllium, that stuff is a shatter waiting to happen.

It’s possible it was made near perfectly, and if never used as seller says, something pressed on the package during storage to cause this, and thus the suspension may re-align itself.

I’ve written the seller, it’s rare, tempting, but it’s the NOS Stylus that is what is desired, so if the suspension stays deformed,

I could misalign the body, and align the cantilever, supposedly start with equal forces both sides, but that would be correcting for misalignment,

lets see what response I get.

I’ve taken a few more photos.  I think it was straighter than I thought.  It was an angle issue.

I hope this doesn’t seem like a dumb comment but if the cantilever is pushed to one side can you just adjust the mount on headshell to make it straight?  That’s what I did when I knocked my tone arm on a moving record and skidded across causing my cantilever to go off center like these pictures show. I have a Hana SH MKii which is only $850 new so trying to get someone to look at it or even fix at $600 would not be worth it. Anyone else have comments on this idea?  I think mine sounds ok again.
