McIntosh MC302 vs Anthem P2

I would like to hear from those who have experience with both amplifiers ideally regarding the benefits of selling my Anthem P2 and buying the McIntosh MC302. I’m really on the fence about this upgrade, if it really is an upgrade.

im stretching the budget to accommodate this piece of gear and want to make sure I’m making the right decision. Can anyone justify the upgrade?

I've owned the McIntosh MC 302 - there's a lot to love about the Mac.  There's a house sound and it's very pleasing. The best thing about it is if you change your mind there's excellent resale.

I've heard Anthem Home Theatre Receivers - I decided to go with NAD instead.  I share this because there was a night and day difference between the Mac and the integrated NAD Amplifier it replaced.
