The past six months I’ve been steadily researching the best Bluetooth speaker for our mini gym and fire pit. I was really leaning towards the Denon Home 150 or 250, but ultimately pulled the trigger on the Bluesound Pulse Flex 2i.
- Ability to pair to run in stereo mode
- Option to make it battery powered via FLEX rechargeable battery pack
- BlueOS for Internet radio stations, Tidal and Spotify Connect if wanting to bypass BlueOS user interface
- Amazon Alexa compatible for voice assistance
I purchased “used” on Audiogon on Tuesday with expected delivery today for $149. I have a sneaky suspicion that I will be delivered a brand new speaker since I received an additional confirmation email from a major online dealer that they were processing the request. Could be wrong, but I’m thinking this dealer is using a third-party account (Audiogon) and listing the product as used to move product below MSRP to avoid manufacturing policing. It especially makes sense due to the third generation of the Pulse Flex releasing soon per Bluesound here.
Flex 2I regular price here vs Audiogon listing here and here.
