Streaming questions

I have finally given in to pressure and decided to start streaming. I joined Qobuz and have started putting together a playlist which I assume will be no problem to play in my car with the Qobuz app. I would appreciate some recommendations for the streaming device that I will use with my home system. My gear is midfi: Revel Performa3 206, and Rega Elix-r integrated. When I get the streaming device how do I get it to play my playlist which I generated on my Mac? I am completely clueless as to how this all works. Greatly appreciate your help. Thanks

Qobuz native sounds better to me than the rest BUT has annoying drop outs time to time.  Interestingly running non native through my Auralic Lighting DS app running Qobuz it works fine.  Sound quality might be a tad more dynamic when native (or it could just be me thinking so because I’ve been told native is better), who knows so take that comment with skepticism as no blind test has been done, nor cared to as it sounds glorious used with the Lighting app,  e.g., Aries S1 with S1 LPS to Chord Qutest with LPS as well.

Thanks, I'll check it out. Right now the only problems I'm having with Qobuz are the inability to thoroughly shuffle my playlist, and the sometimes significant volume differences between recordings.

As others have mentioned, I'd recommend the best BlueSound streamer that fits your budget.....Node nano, better yet Node, better yet Node Icon.

The BlueSound's software is brilliant, it is simple to set up and use, and will not be a limiting factor in your current set up. As you upgrade your system components, you can add a linear power supply for better sound, and later a dedicated DAC for even better.

I still use a BlueSound Node 130 with my high mid-fi system, albeit with a linear power supply and an excellent Denafrips Pontus II DAC......this combo has served me well over the last 4 years as I've upgraded all of my other components, though at this point will be upgraded.

I’ve been exploring on Qobuz the last few days.  Many Sviatislav Richter albums and Paul Kletzki Mahler 4, all sounding great.  Enjoy

I started streaming 11 months ago via Tidal using their app on my iPhone to control it and it has opened a world of music that I did not know existed, and I did not know I liked. I would consider my setup as mid-fi or better.  For streamers I use a Denon HEOS LINK HS2 or a Wiim Ultra in my main system. I like them both, the Denon sounds ever so slightly fuller or richer than the Wiim but the Wiim has an equalizer that can be adjusted... mine is set at neutral. The Wiim in my system has a bit more high-end sparkle. The Denon was a bit under $400 new and the Wiim Ultra can be found new on sale for under $300. A very good value for the money in my opinion.
