What's in your CDP tonight? the minority report

I enjoy vinyl and digital (lately, with recent changes, vinyl actually sounds better than digital to me), BUT given what seems an overall preference for analog/vinyl on A'gon, I'm curious what the non-vinyl "1/2" is listening to. I tried to see if this was a previously posted question. Did not seem so.

This evening for me, it's Genesis (definitive edition remaster) "A Trick of the Tail".

@slaw

Been a while since I checked in at Audiogon (or the email account linked to it).

Thanks for the comment.

MTM is a good one but I had spent more time with the earlier Penguin.  Didn't get into MTM until later.  Same applies to the even earlier Future Games.

I like that trio of albums quite a lot.

Cat Power - Cat Power Sings Dylan: The 1966 Royal Albert Hall Concert

Joan Osborne - Songs of Bob Dylan

@mksun  I own both of the lps you posted above. I was very disappointed in the Joan Osborne record....as much as it pains me to say it. The Chrissie Hynde/Dylan album is way better.

@slaw I have not heard the Chrissie Hynde album and will definitely check it out. I thought Cat Power did the original justice although the intensity of the Band can never be matched. The “Royal Albert Hall” 1966 live concert is my favorite Dylan recording especially the electric side. I thought the Joan Osborne record is good but not great.
