Hi. I plan to connect an Aurender N200 to my Aurender ACS10 in order to improve the sound .Could this be useful ? My DAC is a Manhattan II,  tubed amps and preamp, Speakers are Dunlavy SC V   . Thanks for your advice.

Lampizator, LTA, Aqua ,are not available over here in France.

CJ ET7SE used not found . What about a used Cary SLP98P ? or aARC LS27 ?

I have an all Audio Research system. If I didn’t It would be all CJ. Yes I would highly recommend the LS28SE, or LS28, or LS27SE... how ever far back you have to go back. I have the Reference series.

A good friend whom I helped to choose his system has an LS28SE. It will a bit more detailed and neutral, but musical like your CJ. If that appeals to you.

I feel that the warmth of your CJ helps to offset the more neutral lean Manhattan.

I’d put your equipment and proposed changes into ChatGPT and evaluate to sonic characteristics of the change. It typically does a great job.

JI followed your opinion and asked CHAT GPT for advice. Here is the conclusion: my system is among the best. Only the Manhattan could possibly be changed, but before a significant expense it is advisable to try a Converter- Reclocker such as Berkeley Alpha USB or Dernafrips Gaia 12TH between ACS10 and Mytek output in AES/EBU 110ohms. What do you think?

Interesting. Something to consider. You might try entering the query in different ways. Like, Take my sugestion of swap and see what it says. Then ask specifically for a DAC upgrade that would sound... what you are looking for. You can learn a lot by asking different questions. Might add information about your room.,

I will stand by my opinion... but it is and opinion based on a very small understanding of your situation.
