Yes, of course. I started with Vinyl, then CDs, then Napster (mp3), then Lifetime Sirius, then SACD, then finally Qobuz Streaming. mp3 from Napter and Sirius were only suitable for the car stereo, so, for my home stereo, I ended up ripping all my CDs and SACD and living with that until Qobuz Streaming. Now, I consider Qobuz streaming equal to my ripped CDs and the high rez songs even better. Within a few months of joining Qobuz, I had playlists and songs that rejunivated my listening. Nowadays, sound wise, it is definitely worth it to invest in a hi rez music provider, streamers, and DACs and greatly improve your music library. For my home system, sound quality has always been the number one priority for me, and this new reality has really been a huge game changer for me. I have to admit, based on previous experiences, I was skeptical until I made the investment, and I am so glad I did.
Better system. Better streaming. Any changes?
High-quality playback and high-quality streaming has opened up a big, wide world to me. Electric blues* and classic rock has been my go-to. Now, I’m feasting on Big Band and Orchestral music. I can hear everything. And I’m loving it.
Any changes for you?
