Thoughts on Eversolo T-8

I have been using a Bluesound Node, most recent model, as a streamer with a Chord Hugo TT-2. With a limited budget I am considering the Eversolo T-8 as a streamer transport. Has anyone either listened to, or own one? If so what are your thoughts and anyone have suggestions in the under 2000.00 threshold as a standalone alone streamer transport?

I have had mine for about two weeks and I love it. Tons of settings and it sounds really good. I also came from using a Node. Good luck.

Thanks for your response, grunge1000, if you don’t mind, how do you like the operating system in comparison to the BluOS?

Hello Theo--It's great. The reason I chose the T8 is because it supports Amazon Music and I must say that the T8 interface is just as nice as BlueOS.

There are a notable number of posts where Eversolo units have failed and often have firmware - software bugs. Also of non-existent or spotty support. So, if you go ahead, make sure you get it from a dealer that will protect you in case you have trouble.

Those are more red flags than I would go with. But they are supposed to sound pretty good. Also, research the app used to control the unit... if this isn’t great you’ll be pulling your hair out.
