Power cable for digital sources

I am looking for power cables for my digital sources,

My current system

- I have the Furutech GTX Extreme Outlet Combo which uses a Red Dawn LS power cord into a QRT QBase Qb8 Mark III Power Conditioner.

I am getting ready to add a Vinshine Audio x Kinki Studio Taihang Power Enhancer.

Red Dawn LS 2 power cords into
- Grimm MU1 (Sablon cable to DAC)
- Mola Mola Tambaqui DAC (Fidelium AES/EBU XLT to amp))
- Moon Evolution by Simaudio 700i integrated amp
- Vandersteen Treo CT speakers

I also have the PS Audio Power Plant 12 (not used at this time.)

I am looking at power cables for digital sources.

Yep 100% agree, spent huge $$$$  on so called upgrades only to send them back and spent hours getting "My Sound" back.  Caution must be used with upgrades and tweaks.

Irrespective of price paid for a new toy, you can break everything you’ve worked hard to accomplish. If you think it’s guaranteed that you’re going to have an improvement by introducing more expensive power cords, you’re mistaken. The only guarantee is you will change the way your system sounds. It could easily be for the worst. Been there, done that

For completely neutral ether Transparent or Audio Quest Storm Series.

My experience with AQ Storm is the opposite. I find these cables to be least neutral out of many cables that I had in my system. I tried the entire Storm line.

We all have different rooms, components and preferences for sound. Best to try and see if you like what you hear in your system. At the end of the day what works for someone else might not work for you.

For digital, I use Audioquest Firebird Constant-Current (source).  Highly recommended.  Happy listening.

A good advise! Almost upgrades only make different sounds, not a better sound. Many people don't know a newly bought gear/cable sounds better or not. People should record before and after the upgrade to compare. And they need a reference to compare too. The best reference is the original sound/music. When the original music is the target, the upgrade will be successful every time.

After trying may different PC's, I settled on Kubala Sosna Elation and then Realization.  Many I tried were dark sounding, others were bright.  Kubala Sosna is smooth, revealing and never a detriment.  I believe in synergy and have a full loom.  They have no differentiation between digital and analogue equipment.  Moving for Elation to Realization added a blacker background and smoothness. I will add the lower lines in K-S were not as appealing, for example the Emotion sounding darker to me.  I did experiment with adding an expensive Shunyata cable to my Shunyata Denali V2, and that added a brightness I did not prefer.  As the new top end Ovation series is now available, both Elation and Realization can be seen for a nice value.  I am yet to try the Ovation line, but...
