High current amp search

Hello, so as the title says, I'm looking for a 200+ wats amp (8ohm) that will double it's power down to 2 ohms but importantly also check all the audiophile boxes so strong, articulate, fast bass, smooth resolving mid-range and extended non fatiguing highs. It's proving to be rather difficult because hardly any manufacturers list  output into 2ohms. Budget is around 4000$ so I'm looking at mostly used. Besides something like the Krell FPB 300/400 CX which can be had for that much , what else can be recommended?

@thecarpathian oh cr@p is that what i typed?

I meant to say 'two feet thick rubble walls'

Good catch☺

I feel that this is close to the mark:  Legacy i-V2 Ultra

https://legacyaudio.com/products/view/iv2

The manual states:

The elegant amplifier operates at nearly 80% efficiency at rated output and delivers more than 600 watts into 8 ohms all channels driven while remaining stable into  impedances as low as 2.7 ohms.

Is 2.7 close enough?

As to current (given voltage and watts):

Maximum sustained power consumption:

   2100 Watts @ 120VAC into 20 amp

   4200 Watts @ 120VAC into 40 amp circuit

Price is a little over $4K but less than $5K.

Dear @gavman  :  That does not happens in my system due that the speaker woofers are not field coil design,my subs are integrated through a HP crossover filter and third the speaker woofersand my Velodyne buildmaterial are the same kind.

In the other side my room is different from yours, the standing waves occur at different places and the subs positions are different too. For example:my pair of sub's are firing not to rhe seat position but side to side each sub in front of the other sub. A unique sub's position.

So each one of us ahve towork according each one of us room/system chain.

R.

@gavman  : The other issue is that your room are seen 2 pairs of different signature sound reproduction woofers almost at the same time and from different position inside same frequency range, does not exist a seamless blend like in my room/system.
