High current amp search

Hello, so as the title says, I'm looking for a 200+ wats amp (8ohm) that will double it's power down to 2 ohms but importantly also check all the audiophile boxes so strong, articulate, fast bass, smooth resolving mid-range and extended non fatiguing highs. It's proving to be rather difficult because hardly any manufacturers list  output into 2ohms. Budget is around 4000$ so I'm looking at mostly used. Besides something like the Krell FPB 300/400 CX which can be had for that much , what else can be recommended?

@faustuss crown also lists the 2 ohm load they can even handle 1 ohm and lower and up to 8 ohms easily

A used Aesthetix Atlas fits in your budget and provides the power with great sound

In addition to old Krells, check out some of the Thresholds and older McIntosh offerings.  Some can handle 2 and even 1 Ohm, (damn near a dead short), which is amazing.

For the really crazy and rich folk, I believe the big Gryphons can handle 1/2 Ohm loads, (??).

Musical fidelity has a couple amps in your price range- especially if you find them used. The M6Si- which I owed for nearly a decade before I upgraded is an absolute top performer and should be on the list along with M8xi.  Build is and specs are top notch.  The only reason I upgraded was to get the tube feel and of course needed more juice for hard to drive speakers
