@slaw: Fantastic Steve, hope you like it as much as I do. I have an old friend who doesn’t keep up with new music, and in the late-90’s he told me his wife asked him to ask me for a recommendation of music by a current female artist. I told him the My Life album, and a few weeks later he told me her reaction was that she found it "Awfully melancholy." Is that a bad thing? . |
About Plaid Room Records... @slaw - Glad you like Plaid Room Records. Really great record store, good people, great work ethic and smart business people. @mofimadness - Are you local to Plaid Room? I'm just down the Little Miami Trail from Loveland, in Terrace Park. Met Bob and Terry when they opened their first little shop, right by the bike trail and off the main street. I've seen a couple of good performances there by artist on their record label - Colemine Record. |
